Angelika Rozin, LMHC, LPC

Angelika is a dually licensed clinician — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. The dual licensure means she can work with clients across the full New York-New Jersey metro area, which matters for the many people whose lives, jobs, and families straddle the state line.

Her work is integrative, relational, and grounded in evidence-based frameworks. She adjusts the approach to what each client needs — sometimes that is structured cognitive work, sometimes deeper attachment exploration, sometimes systemic family work. The thread that runs through all of it is a steady, attuned presence and a respect for the complexity each client brings.

Who Angelika works with

Angelika sees individuals, couples, and families. Common reasons clients reach out:

  • Major life transitions — career changes, divorce, becoming a parent, midlife
  • Anxiety, depression, and the long stretches of life that simply feel harder than they should
  • Couples work — communication, infidelity recovery, decision-making at relationship turning points
  • Family therapy with parents and older children, blended families, and adult family members
  • Perinatal experiences — pregnancy, postpartum, partnership after kids
  • Identity and self-discovery work, particularly at major thresholds

How Angelika works

Sessions are 50 minutes, online. The work is collaborative and structured — Angelika is direct about what she is observing, transparent about the approach, and willing to adjust when something is not working. She is not a therapist who sits silent and waits.

Many clients come to Angelika after trying therapy that felt too vague or too stuck on a single technique. Her style is more “working with you” than “working on you,” with the structure of evidence-based methods underneath the warmth.
