ALEXA FRANCOLINO, LCSW: ABOUT ME/PERSONAL STATEMENT
Hello there. My name is Alexa. I am a Psychotherapist (LCSW) and a certified and practicing Yoga and Meditation Teacher, with additional certifications in Somatic Experiencing and Complex Trauma so that I could better guide you through mind-body healing. I am the Co-Founder of The Therapy Lounge, LLC and I am also the Yoga and Meditation Teacher at our practice (I look forward to connecting with you during our sessions and/or classes). The majority of my time outside of sessions typically looks like spending time quality time with my husband and dog, whether that includes traveling, taking road-trips, hiking, and/or spending any sort of time in nature. Additionally, spending time with my niece and nephew, family, and friends, posting up in a coffee shop or a book store, or spending quality time with myself doing Yoga or meditating. Whatever it may be, I love having new experiences, and I look forward to sharing in the new experience of working together (:
Our therapeutic relationship will always be most important to me; It is very important to me that you feel safe, heard, and supported. You know your mind and body better than anyone else in the world, and I will always encourage your intuition and inner strength to lead the way.
Your emotional health is your physical health, and visa versa. I was given the opportunity to realize just how much trauma and patterns stored in the body can influence not only our mental health, but our physical health; How the body and mind are not separate, but actually work in perfect union.
During our work together, you can expect to experience an increase in self-esteem, self-trust, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, self-acceptance, self-compassion, confidence and empowerment, boundaries, lifestyle, self-talk, and self-care. During our time, we may engage in CBT interventions, mindfulness strategies, IFS parts work, somatic interventions, nervous system health and regulation, psychoeducation, and/or adaptive lifestyle changes.
You will have a fellow human sitting across from you, as you develop the strength, self-trust, self-acceptance, and resilience to become your own healer, to learn how to care for yourself in ways uniquely relative to you and your experiences; And finally feel safe in your mind and embody a feeling of Home within your own body.
ANGELIKA ROZIN, LMHC, LPC: ABOUT ME/PERSONAL STATEMENT
What is therapy? Can that answer be the same for every person? My belief is that therapy is not a one size fits all process. It’s a journey that has many twists and turns, and can vary from person to situation. It is my honor as a psychotherapist to be on that journey with my clients, to help guide them towards their goals and most importantly uncovering their purpose for it. Seeing personal growth and therapeutic success for a client makes it all worth it and reminds me of my purpose in the mental health field.
It is my theory that a healthy therapeutic connection results in both the client and the therapist learning and growing together in the process. Each client has and continues to help me evolve as a therapist and most importantly as a person. I am grateful for that opportunity. I look forward on building new relationships and embracing my role in the therapeutic journey for my clients. My goal is for the client to know that they are never alone and can uncover patience and confidence to trust the process.
